Why would you think they would be lying about you talking in your sleep? Lots of people talk in their sleep I do it.

Well, you, yourself can neither prove nor disprove that you talk in yoursleep.

Perhaps a voice activitated tape recorder on your night stand could give definitive proof. But, since it is unlikely that you talk EVERY night, you might have to do this for quite a while.

Both my sons talked in their sleep. One even got up and walked around. Once he walked out the door and a neighbor found him. He was about 6 at the time. Next day he had no recollection.

Gee, how many "people" are in a position to know what your behaviour is while you are sleeping (nudge nudge). Apart from that, why would somebody lie about it? My husband is the family snore machine, and he sure knows I'm not lying. But I have to admit when he tells me he caught me sawing a log or two, my first reaction is "Huh? Me? I don't snore" But though I'm no match for my husband's "forest demolition" during some nights, I know I sometimes do a bit of honking because I've woken myself up LOL. Whoever it is says you are doing some nocturnal chatting tell them to set up a taperecorder, and perhaps the playback will convince you.

Set up a tape recorder before you go to sleep. Or sleep with someone in the room.

Try setting up either a video camera or a tape recorder to find out

Set up a noise-activated tape recorder and leave it on when you sleep. Or have someone record you the next time they hear it. Just always have that tape recorder ready! =)

I had to record my parents snoring to prove to them how obnoxious their snoring is.

Ask someone you know to record you whilst you sleep

I did this when my husband did not believe he talked and snored

When confronted with the recorded noises; he knew he was wrong
