I'm using fuschia, white, and green orchids and fuschia and pink roses, peonies, and mini callas. Dress is white, groom is wearing white suit (jacket and pants, NOT a tux) with a button-down shirt in a cute green color (with the top couple of buttons open). We're having an outdoor summer wedding at sunset and there will be fuschia, green, and white paper lanterins hanging up. Also probably a hundred different shapes and size votive holders with pink and green glass beads to hold the candles. Instead of a unity candle we're doing the unity sand thing with green, pink, and white sand (he has a son so the third color is representing him and us all as a family). Cake is three-tier round white-iced with the tiers kinda offset towards the side with green ribbon around the edge and fuschia and white orchids. So much more but tired of typing!

It's according to that time of the year. I think for fall/ winter weddings- reds, oranges, browns (neutral colors). Spring/ Summer - light pastel/ pale colors are always beautiful - greens, yellows, blues, pink etc.. what I did (it may seem strange) I went to Home Depots paint department and looked at all different colors and shades. B/c there are basic colors but some many different shades that way I could actually put different colors together to see what they looked like as a combo. Good Luck!!

Colors for a wedding gown? Bridesmaids? Or for the decor in general?

For a bridal gown I love white or off-white, depending on the bride's skin tone. Anything else for the bridesmaids, except anything absolutely revolting like fuschia or lime green, etc.

For the general decor, I like silver. Everything with a silver lining. For example, plates for the reception to have a silver lining around the border, glasses, etc. Silver and white go together nicely.

I would use just White and a golden yellow or white and red.
Perhaps a combination of the three. red is for passion and love and all that and the golden yellow for hope and prosperity and future. White is for purity and new beginings.
I would have the female attendants in gold, the groom in white and groomsmen in white or a color to match the female attendants and the ushers in dark suits.
The flowers white and red roses. Or the roses that are yellow with red on the tips.

I worked as a bridal consultant for awhile in high school. Based on a spring, morning ceremony and reception... I'd have a light creme wedding dress with a white daffodil bouquet. The maid-of-honor would wear a pale daffodil yellow, and the bridemaids a pale sage. Place settings and decorations would be in creme and sage with daffodils as the flower arrangements.

My wedding colors will be red, black and white. They are my strength colors, but not only that my wedding is going to be pirate based. It will be in old sea style, and perfectly awesome. I have the whole wedding planned out (too long for here)

I am getting married on December 31,2006. My wedding colours are pastel blue and lettuce green. (the green is similar to sage green but Lettuce is the new name for it Alfred Angelo is using) We picked these colours as they are ICY colours and not the typical Christmas colours but, they are still easy to find this time of year. Ours is a western type Christmas wedding.

It would have to be a white gown for the bride, topaz blue dresses for the brides maids and navy blue suit for the groom. Flowers could be any blue variety... something pretty and delicate like a blue hydrangea with Ivy.
