Although I may not agree with what someone is suggesting, I always show respect for someone. In my opinion, there are no stupid or silly questions. I try to answer to the best of my ability. If I'm unable to provide a decent answer or even guess, I pass and move on to the next question. I do agree with you to some extent. But questions that are intentionally sarcastic, negative in nature or are specifially asked to downgrade a belief or person aren't cool. I still don't give a thumbs down or rarely even an reaction because most that ask those questions do it for attention anyway. 99.9% of the time, if you ignore ignorance it goes away. If your questions are true and something you'd really like to know or even an idea that you'd like to know how someone feels about or who may agree and why...you deserve a right to voice that without being given a negative feedback.

Yes, I get that a lot too. Keep asking those questions tho. I was once a soul-winning bible-pounding creationist fundy. If I could be reasoned with, anybody can be!
I got a thumbs down for simply saying that I volunteered a few places. Another one that just had the line "Yes, my grandmother was murdered." You have to wonder about their world view. And pity them :(

God did not give you your mind... The mind is a process of the brain which came about in you from a divergance of cells guided by your genetic code... God did give you your immortal soul. But, your mind is your own and you use it as you choose... you may use it for, or against, God... as you choose.... I do not play the point game so you will not receive any knd of thumb froim me.

Independent thinking is dangerous only for the people who want to control what other people believe and think. It isn't generally encouraged in organized religions because it's a threat to the church's control.

Rejoice in your thumbs down-it means your arguments are having the desired effect and shaking the fragile foundations of Christian belief.

christians have incredibly low self-esteem.
it's why they flag so many people who believe differently, and thumbs-down answers that disagree with them.
they act like children.
