Today morning, I found my last left contact lense on the sink counter. It was all dried out. So i put it back in the case with the moisture, and when I came back , it was all ok, but it had a little chip in it, could i just wear it for today or will it damage my eye?:::It doesn't hurt when I put it in my eye:::Today is Thanksgiving so I cannot go out and buy another one.

I have had to do it in emergency cases when i had no spare contacts. But it is painful after a while and the next day your eyes are irritated. I know it's not good for your eyes and you should not do it however if , like me , you are totally blind without your contact and have no other option, well wear them until tomorrow until you see your optician.

dont even think about it! You may think its alright now but you will regret it later.Contact lenses are tricky and they have alot of risk to them.Once your contact chips do not put them back into your eye. They will damage your eye and you may not notice till later so u just have to ride it out until u can get more or wear some old glasses.LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Can you imagine how many nasty germs there are on you sink counter?? Couple that with a lens that is highly likey to scratch your cornea, you have a recipe for a big fat corneal infection/ulcer, which is incredibly painful and often causes PERMENANT scarring. Wear your glasses.

Trust me, I'm a professional...

That is your call, just remember you can scratch your eye pretty badly with chipped contacts, and that is very uncomfortable..dont take chances with your vision, hopefully you have a pair of glasses!
