When a guy talks down to me or lies. Big turnoff. If I look fat, I want to know it. If I am incorrect, I want to know it. If I ask for help with a problem, I want help. I don't want just listening. I want the respect and intimacy that comes with trust and truth. Sex is much better when you have that mutual respect. Everything is better.
Secondly, when a guy asks me why I am entirely unlike what he read about in John Gray's Mars and Venus book. This has happened to me 10+ times.
The answer is because I am a real human female, not a stereotype in a book that was written to ensure the wealth of the author, who will continue to make money only insofar as men do not succeed with women. Ironic isn't it? He gives bad advice to ensure guys will keep buying. Clever businessman! I should hire him...

I think most of the faux pas incidents that men commit are breaches of respect for the woman as a person. Obviously, one is not going to pass gas, belch, spit, or pick one's nose in public. But there are other things that turn women off that many men don't realize. Make sure the conversation isn't one-sided, for instance. It doesn't impress anybody, and can sound arrogant. Make a point of asking her views on the topic in question as it will show you respect her as a person. Also, when at a restaurant, refrain from ordering her food for her. It may come across as controlling or treating her like a child. Instead, have her order first. It will make her feel special while incorporating the custom of "ladies first". This is by no means a complete list. And what works for one woman may well turn another one off. If in doubt, ask the woman. That by far is the most respectful thing a man can do for her.

Acting like sex is all he wants. Talking about ex-wives or girlfriends is a big turn off. When men do this a girl just wants to rub mud on his stupid face. Breaking promises is another sure way of making a girl red hot mad. Telling lies and cheating spells the end. Instead they could be honest-caring-thoughtful-talk about things in life that they enjoy.(not things they enjoyed with someone else)-be faithful and keep their promises.

Jumping the sex gun before the girl is ready. Doing nice gentlemenly things is good, like opening doors and goofy things like that.

1. Bad breath
2. Not doing what he said he would.
They should try to just be themselves and not be afraid to talk bout them self but not too much.
