Most of the breath actually comes from the tongue. You can try brushing your tongue, but it isn't as useful as a tongue scraper, which you can find at any drug store. Mouthwash will kill the bacteria, which causes bad breath. I usually brush, then scrape, then use mouth wash.

Brushing your teeth doesn't actually do anything for your breath because most bad breah germs live on your toungue. Brushing your tounge will aleviate the smell and mouthwash helps a little ,but you should always brush your toungue before using mouthwash it won't be very affective. It will be back to stinking in few minutes with mouthwash alone.

Brushing your teeth will remove bacteria from your mouth, which is the normal cause of bad breath.

Using mouthwash will kill the bacteria.

Both normally include some breath fresheners to help make the breath smell better.

brushing helps to remove the bacteria that causes bad breath. mouthwash helps, but using it too often is not good for you as the bacteria it helps destroy builds up a defence against the mouthwash and it doesnt have teh same effect anymore

Both. Brush your teeth several times a day, your tongue too. I've heard that most of the bacteria that causes bad breath is on the tongue. Use the wash afterward to kill whatever you missed.

The best thing to use are chewing gum and mints to hide the smell but you ca buy these toothbrushes with ribs on the back of them and they are used to scrape the dirt off your tongue the dirt comes back but its one of the most effective ways of getting rid of bad breathe!
