I recently started going to clubs. While I was standing there, a girl walked by and stood next to me. So I started talking, she is very cute and I like her a lot. So eventually I invited her to go to my thanksgiving party. She said, no she will probably go home. But she did not walk away and still seem to be interested with her body gestures. Then I do not know what to do at that point. Later on I saw her going home with some other guy. So obviously she was not going home. The question is should I continue insisting that she go to my party even if she said no?

This behavior is typical...confusing behavior with no apparent purpose or design...it's all because people don't care enough or have the integrity more precisely to the point to actually care about each other...don't feel alone...this kind of scenario happens everyday...find a girl that's willing to talk to you and not just give you simple stock answers..which is basically dead air..

If she says no, it really does mean "no". You want to know if you should try to convince her to change her mind--and this is okay to an extent, but remember to people who are getting to know each other, sometimes it's difficult to hurt someone's feelings to turn them down. After a certain point, you need to let it go. If she really wanted to go, she'd say "yes."

Good luck next time.

Just let her be. I hate to say this but has it occurred to you that maybe she's just not interested in you??? Don't take offense to this, but just because a girl is talking to you does not mean that she likes you in that sort of way. Just chalk this up and move on. I wouldn't waste my time asking her again unless you just want to be let down one more time.

She did not find it good enough to go to a party when she got an offer of bed.

Well, depends on the situation and the girl.
A girl might not want to seem too eager and might say no the first time.In that case you can ask her again.
Some girls say no and mean no.
So,you're going to have to figure that out yourself.

She told you that she will probably spend Thanksgiving with her family so take her at her word.

No. She's not interested. Have an extra piece of humble pie and move on.

if she offered to get together some other time then there's your chance, if she just said no, then don't push it any further or else she'll think ur needy and dont have any player skills.

hope this helps! =)
