The cold water inside the bottle condenses and causes little droplets of water to form on the outside of the bottle these are called water droplets. The heat outside the bottle reacts with the chillyness of the bottle.

This happens when outside of the bottle is at or below the due point at that room or abient temperature, and air has cetain humidity.
But in most cases this condition is meet, so most of the time due is formed on the out side of the bottle.
