Christianity and illegal immigration is oxymoron. The catholic churches and other Christian churches who supports and hide illegal immigrants from the law would be better off if they pool all their financial assets and help feed and house all the illegals in their own countries.

If you want to do the "Christian" thing, sponsor an immigrant into the country. Beyond that it doesn't matter what the Christian thing to do might be. The question is what is best for the country? And open borders are definitely NOT the best thing for the country for many reasons including security from terrorism, economics, health care, social, crime, and the education of our youth.

Christians are told to follow the laws of man as long as they do not contradict the laws of God. As far as illegal immigration goes each person has to decide for themselves where to draw the line between saving someone and breaking the law.
Me...I see nothing wrong with providing water stations and first aid for the desert crossers. If I found one that was sick or injured I would take them to the nearest place they could get help, I wouldn't ask if they were "legal".

One of the 10 commandments says 'thou shalt not steal', another one says 'thou shalt not bear false witness', there's a bunch of other 'shalt nots' in there, but then you have to stop and ask the difference between what Jesus, Inc. supports, and what true christians support. Pardon the pun, but the churchies need to sit down and do some real 'soul searching', here. My nickel says that Jesus would probably lodge one of his leather sandals up someone's *** for trying to turn a house of worship into a house of business...and that's about what's happened, which brings us to the Catholics, and their support of Mexico moving en masse to the United States. High time for some audits and clarity in THAT religious organization, in my view...'congress shall pass no law', maybe, but at the same time some of these religious organizations such AS the Catholic church are pretty damn affluent, and hence, influential, and there's LOTS of catholics in Mexico...all I have to say is, thank GOD for making me a heathen non-believer skeptic....Martin Luther had these clowns PEGGED way back in the days of the Reformation in europe. Pointy-hatted freaks with too much time on their hands, too much money, and subversive political ambitions...maybe if they could leave the choir-boys alone and stick to the Bible and the kingdom of god, they'd have something there...but, when they start trying to tell people how to vote, it's time cut that crap off at the knees, in my view. I don't mind if people go to church, that's all good and fine by me. But, their religious faith does NOT grant them the powers of governance nor the right to set domestic policy for the United States etc. They can all piss off back to Italy if that's the game they're going to play...

Send them home, and do what is the best thing for America, they're own country. Pray for the illegals to try and better THEIR own nation, and protect America. WE are a Nation under God, NOT Mexico, or any other country.

They could stay in their own country and then no one would have to worry about doing the Christian thing.
