help..my mixed breed shih tzu/ jack Russel is 5months old...he will not toilet train?

my dog wont train...and hes 5 mnths old and never stops bitin poeple help me somtimes he bites so hard he breaks the skin...HELP ME!!!

dogs can take a while to train...every time he bites, smack him on the nose and send him to a dog crate, this can be indoors wtih a little door as a punishment. this can also be useful for toilet training. take him out several minutes each hour, and use a word to associate with doing his "buisness" (the seeing eye uses "park time") and wait, let him sniff around. dont let him play, make sure this is the time he uses to do what comes naturally. wehn he does, praise excessivley. if he pees on the carpet, stick his nose in it, then send him to his crate. dogs really dont like to mess in their little houses. be persistent. good luck!! it may take a while, just dont get frustrated or angry with him. :)

No dog flat out refuses to be trained. You and others in your household must be more persistent in your training. If you don't know how to train your puppy, sign up for a training class. Work your dog for a few minutes EVERY day and you'll see results fast.

JRT's are very difficult to potty train. I would read up on training JRT's. Any small breed is usually harder to potty train, so you have your work cut out for you.

for the potty training, theres these potty training pads called,"little stinker, housebreaking pads." there pads that you lay down and there supposed to help your dog go there(on the pad). and you must walk your dog
