The Maldives--Nowhere else comes anywhere near!
Relaxing, quiet, stunninlgly beautiful, romantic.
White talcum powder sand, palm trees, warm lagoons, cocktails & the best of service.

Winter gateways, I select a land of contrasts where I go on safari and enjoy wide open spaces nestled between the vast desert landscapes and the Atlantic Ocean. Of all the safari countries I select the least known. Her attractions are unparallelled, from the spectacular red dunes of her desert to the wild Skeleton coast and the game rich. Safaris in its climate is typical of semi-desert terrain, hot days (to enjoy whilst out) and cool nights (for a good night sleep).
It is the land that the sun scorches and it always develops a colourful horizon to horizon floral carpet every dawn and dusk.
Enjoy Namibia

Scotland,
It is just so picturesque, with snow covering the Highlands. And Deer roaming along the hills grazing. Absolutely magnificent scenery, plus great Whisky to fight the chill, by a log fire.

Alaska as it's highly unusual, sufficiently far enough from the UK for me to feel as if I am abroad; it has great winter sports and activities and I like confusing British peopel who for the most part think it is part of Canada!!

Vail, Colorado in January. It's not too incredibly crowded yet and the skiing is great, nightlife is pretty fair and there is nothing like looking at the snow-covered Rockies at sunset.

Hawai'i because it is always warm and the people are very relaxed. A great place to go after a few months of stressful work in crappy weather.
