Your mother knows what's best for your. Your not quite old enough yet. You are way to young to have a child. Listen to your mom, even though you don't want to. Someday you will understand how much she cares about you and your wellbeing.

Talk with your mom about what age she will allow you to date.

That depends alot on factors not mentioned by you. How old are you? If you are under 18, then mom has the final say. Yes, if she is still not allowing you to at least begin dating after, say IMO 16, maybe there is a control issue going on. as far as sneaking around for nearly a year, And if you do find that your love for one another is lasting. Good luck, because you'll need it. Your mother will likely never accept this man into her heart, after finding she has been deceived by the two of you. Somehow, (again depending on your age, and her reason for not allowing dating?) come clean.

The bond between a mother and daughter, should never suffer from a man coming between the two of them. AS you may yet to learn, MOM WILL ALWAYS BE There For YOU. Men (even those we think we are madly in love with,) are much less likely to be by our sides for the rest of our lives.

Good Luck!

how old are you....seriously. IF you are close to 18 then sit wit yo mama and talk about it.....get it out in the open. Give and take....set the ground rules.....it may seem lame.....but its a heck of a lot better than sneaking around....that's not having a boyfriend. But, in the end listen to you mother. If the guy really cares for you...he'll just have to wait until you are 18. Like I said...it may seem lame......but, you will ultimately feel better about it.

Since you did not say your age, this is probably an issue. You must be young for your mom not to want you to have a boyfriend. Because if you where old enough to handle one your mom would not object. Your mom must be dumb to not know you have one too, where does she think you are doing when you are out with him??? You can go ahead and tell her or keep lie ing to her it seems to be working on the fool.

Why doesn't your mom want you to have a boyfriend? Because you're too young, or because she just doesn't?

I would be honest and tell your mom about the relationship you've been having. Maybe if she sees you've handled one for almost 10 months then she'll see that you're capable of having one and be more open to the idea.

Good luck

You know, your age is kind of an important factor here.

When does she think it's okay for you to date? If you are close to 18, I'd wait until then to tell her. Or just act like its all new.

If you are much younger then maybe you should listen to the person who feeds and clothes you.

If you are under 18, then you need to obey your mother. If this guy really loves you, he'll wait for you. Good luck! Happy Thanksgiving!

You should probably calmly tell your mom about it.
she will hopefully appreciate the honesty.
if not you might get grounded but that's better than keeping a secret from your mom.
i hope i helped you somehow.
keep in touch.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

Break up. If you are under 18, then obey your parents. He won't wait no matter what, so kiss him goodbye and move on!
