Beside the already noted diuretic properties of alcohol, and the fact that some decomposition products may be expelled via the urinary tract (though that one leave me dubious, alcohol is decomposed in the liver, and mostly yields sugars, which is why it's such a caloric drink), there's the basic fact that drinking beer implies drinking large amounts of liquid, and unless it's very hot, or you're active enough to sweat a great lot, your organism won't like being saddle with all this extra water, so it's getting rid of it through the urinary process, which also explains why piss passed after beer is lighter than ordinarily :it's mostly water and less concentrated in urea and the other poisons that normally color it yellow.

You will probably notice that it doesn't to start with, then once you start you can't stop. This is because your body is trying to process the poisons in the drink to begin with. Once the body can't keep up with the flow in, it just lets go into your bladder and lets the liquid be disposed. That's why, when people who drink toxic chemical concoctions such as WKD blue, will notice if they drink at a fair pace, their urine will be discoloured. However, the type of person who drinks WKD blue normally can't drink at that pace - so it's never a problem!

i also think it is because when you drink beer you usually drink quicky and when your body takes on any kind of liquid quickly it makes your body piss a lot. you can try to drink a lot of water in a short span (just like you drink beer) and see how many times you piss...it will be a lot ive tried. and try drinking beer slowly you wont be pissing much...hope that helps

because it is diuretic - which means it encourages the body to lose more water than it takes on by halting the production of the body's anti-diuretic hormone, resulting in you needing to go to the toilet excessively and so speeding up the loss of fluid from your body, leading to dehydration.
