i would recommend installing vista beta as a fresh installation on another hard drive.
the upgrade option will probably work, but there is no guarantee you will be able to upgrade to the release version a keep all your software and files.

Dude, nothing will happen, I wiould advise u to use Windows Vista RC 1 and install that instead of Beta 2... u can download it from http://winvista.uni.cc
