Looking for some ceiling paint to day in Homebase noticed they do some by different companies (Crown one make)

The paint is pink when wet but dries brilliant white.
I think the idea is you can see what you have painted so you dont miss anywhere.

Any body tried this new type of paint!

It's been around for a while, and it is good for seeing where you have missed because after a while when you're painting the ceiling you just can't tell where you have missed.

Yes and it works really well

I am wondering if the technology can be used elsewhere, not sure but I think the original trials of this were starting off brown and ending up white
I believe a certain Mr Michael Jackson had something to do with the trials

no but my aunt has and its brilliant, I also thought the DAP Spackle was brilliant though it was a bit scary at first when I opened the container it was a bright pink/fuschia but when applied after about 1-2 hours (depending on thick you need it) it dries a crisp white ready to be painted I didn't even need to prime it first

I think you may be referring to gloss paint and not emulsion. Dulux have had it for years. Tried it, its okay, but expensive and only does what any decent white gloss does anyway (if used properly)

It's been around for over 2 years, Dulux have had it on retail shelves for 18months at least.

Well tried and tested, you will have no problems.
