Why is there braille on the drive up atms? If the blind are driving, I am a little concerned.....

I had to laugh at your question... but.. really. those are machines and whether they are used inside banks.. at the entrances to banks(as most are) or in the drive in locations.. they are still a STANDARD machine used by the ATM system... Rather than doing away with the braille ONLY ONLY ONLY on those machines that they use at the drive up tellers, they just leave the braille on ALL the machines.. OK?

I bet it's so the visually impaired can lean over the driver and read the Braille imprinting. Also, a lot of people walk up to the drive-through ATM's.
Good point, though.

You don't have to neccessarily have to drive up. Alot of people walk and therefore a blind person may.

because people can walk up to the machine it doesn't mean that just because they are blind they can not access the machine. Plus they put it on there for lawsuit reasons.

Because it's the politically correct thing to do.

Which in this case is also the compassionate thing to do.
