Mary was never the mother of God. She was the mother of Jesus while He was in the flesh her on earth. The bible says she was a fellow believer in Him as were the apostles but doesn't say how long she or Joseph lived.

Jesus was only dead 3 days then he rose again! He still lives today! Mary is the one who brought Jesus into the world, through Immaculate Conception from God. NO man can take credit for Jesus' creation. Jesus is the Son of God. Marys death, who knows?

Since the title "Theotokos" - or, "Bearer of God" was bestowed upon the Blessed Virgin Mary by the Church at the third Ecumenical Council in 431 A.D. (that's a long long long long time ago, my Protestant friends...) - and the Council clearly stated that whosoever does not believe that she is, indeed, the Mother of God, should be anathema (look it up - you might actually learn something) - it is not only PROPER to call the Blessed Virgin Mary "The Mother of God" - but to deny it is to deny the Deity of Christ. Strike two. One more and you're out.
Like Nestorius - who taught against the doctrine of Theotokos...he was kicked out of the Church. That's why we still call the denial of the doctrine "Nestorianism".

It is unknown how long she lived. It is believed that she lived in Ephesus with the Apostle John until her Dormition.
P.P.S. The "Immaculate Conception" refers to Mary, not Jesus.

God can not die, nor can He be killed. So IF Jesus is God then He IS still hanging upon that rotted out and many times replaced cross. Then IF Jesus died HE IS NOT GOD! He said Himself that He is the Son of God. and that God (Jehovah) is His God and Father! That would mean that the Catholics are wrong once again. Mary is and could never have been the mother of God.

The Bible does not say.
The last Biblical mention of Mary shows her to be with the 11 apostles and others, assembled in an upper room, somewhere in Jerusalem. Acts 1:13, 14.

Mary is Jesus Christ mother. God does not have a mother. Jesus died, God can not die.
