Magic 8-ball says:
The odds are against it.
People are assigned to commands based on command need and specialties. Say a ship needs a mechanic, the computer draws up a list of names, and whomever is at the top, gets shipped that way.
Since there are a greater number of men in the service, the sheer odds of having a female name pop up for every position is near enough to nil that you can just say zero.
I can say this: there will never be one female assigned to a combat oriented submarine!

Your question is misleading. No one argues that Israel did not attack the Liberty in 1967 which resulted in the loss of life. What we do argue is that there were numerous official investigations that concluded that it was a friendly fire incident. This is the 3rd (?) post you've put up on this issue and yet you seem to be strangely reluctant to answer the issues I postulated to you twice before, instead opting to close the question and give the best answer to someone who agrees with you. So, I will make it simple for you this time and ask you the following questions: - Since you believe that they "were murdered in cold blood" and American official investigations concluded that it was a friendly fire incident do you therefore believe that there was a COVER UP? Yes of No. - Since you believe that they "were murdered in cold blood" and the USA and Israel were allies at the time then what possible explanation do you have as to why Israel would attack it deliberately? - In anticipation of the possible explanation that you may give that Israel wished to "cover up" something it did that the Liberty knew about, then, if Israel and the USA are allies, why couldn't the USA be trusted to cover it up without the loss of the Liberty?

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of equality? I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad thing but why would it be necessary? Maybe a female crew would have to prove themselves. However the women of the navy have already shown they can do the job. Therefore it would make no since.
