According to Creole/Cajun legend a youngTom Turkey and a chicken fell in love. Their parents were appalled and were very happy when the farmer removed the young Tom to a seperate pen. Lovesick, the Tom would not eat and was wasting away. every day a greedy duck would come by the pen and ask for Tom's uneaten food. Not caring, Tom pushed the food outside the pen every day for the duck. The farmer was quite upset and confused by the turkey's getting so thin since there were only a few more weeks until Thanksgiving and he had no desire to eat the tough old birds left in the barn. A few days before the holiday, the farmer suggested to his wife that they instead have roasted duck this year. She was very dissappointed but when she saw the turkey, she thought that perhaps it would be better to wait to see if he would be better by Christmas. Meanwhile, the chicken had found out where her beloved Tom was being held and made her way to the prison. She was hearbroken to find him thin and weak. He was overjoyed to see her. It was a beautiful reunion, although they were still seperated by wire. The two of them immediately began plotting his escape and planning their future. That very day Tom told the duck that he would be eating his own food from now on because in order to carry out their plan he needed to be as strong as possible. He never saw the duck again. He began eating everything the farmer brought to him plus the extra food that the chicken smuggled in to him.

On Thanksgiving day the farmers wife began to prepare their feast for the day, however she was dismayed to find that her oven was not working. this forced her to freeze the duck and accept the invitation of neighbors to have Thanksgiving dinner with them. The farmer and his wife invited their hosts to Christmas dinner with them.

This may be debatable. You talk as in Crossbreeding? Their is a bird called a Turken and I not sure, but, it sound as if is a cross of a Chicken and Turkey.
I stand corrected. The Turken is actually a chicken. So, your answer is probably no they can not have babies together.
