So many people in society sleep around and have sex without being in a relationship. Lots of people disagree with it too. I was wondering about a similar thing. What do people think of relationships purely for sex. (no boyfriend/girlfriend relationship -just the sex) If you aren't dating anyone at the moment but you still have desires! This is not having sex with random guys/girls every night but instead having a certain person/few people that you call for sex. (I know there are many names for it...) It seems to me to be less risky than picking people up from clubs. What does everyone think?

What would you do if someone proposed this to you? Personally I would probably be offended but maybe others are different.

I think different people have different views on things. You are right it is a lot safer than picking up any old tom, **** and harry in a night club because they could be carrying a lot more than a condom (i mean sexual diseases). As long as people know that the men/women they are going to for casual sex aren't carrying any infections, then good luck to them. I, personally make love, which means I only have sex with a person if I love them and feel that they love me too, in other words I wait for about 6 months to see whether the guy is interested in me or just sex. But as I said before this is my personal opinion and people are different! I hope this answers your question. Best wishes

I think that this is very active in today's society. But I also believe that sooner or later emotions such as jealousy, resentment etc will come into play and it will appear as if it is a relationship. Tried this myself when I was a little younger and the female began thinking more of the relationship then I wanted or was willing to give. Be careful as there are a lot of risks associated with this practice and I do not just mean STD's, but safety issues also.

Why is it wrong? I think its fine considering there are a lot of women interested in that sort of stuff and are usually more horny than guys. A friend of mine once went to a club and started dancing with a chick, all of a sudden in the middle of the dance floor she pulled his pants off and...........well you get the rest.
Although sleeping around with someone you have no feelings for is just not the same as making love to someone you care about.

Whatever people want to do is fine with me. (as long as nobody is married) And it does seem better than strangers at a club. I guess not everyone can keep feelings out of relationship and that could be a problem.

I feel that anyone who allows themselves to be in that sort of situation deserves whatever they get out of, the hurt, the frustration, loss of friendship, etc. However, if that is what some people want to do, let them do it. It's not for anyone else to decide or judge (altho we all do that). Personally, I don't like the idea, because I don't want or like to be used like that, and I don't believe in using someone else like that either.

i think the name of it is "F-ck Buddies" and those are the best. but extremely hard to keep emotions out of play. if you're physically WITH someone for a long time, eventually some emotion might come into play.

your body is yours to do with and if throwing it around because you can't control your urges is how you want to be seen by others and yourself, then your self-esteem needs work...think ahead a bit and ask yourself what kind of a guy would want a severely used human, is that all you think you are worth...
