I am going to my brother in laws and his wifes house this Saturday for a housewarming party and I am planning on taking a box of cookies and a loaf of cinnamon bread. How should I wrap the bread? Should I put it in a basket?

I want to wrap it nicely, like a gift.

I like to give bread as a gift also. I like to wrap it loosely in a pretty cloth napkin (bought at a CostPlus or import store), then put it in a basket. Simple, delightful and easily accessible! When I give plain bread I sometimes include a little container of honeybutter.

Just use a paper bag.
This allows air to circulate and not allow condensation which would cause the crust to get soggy as well as keep the warmth of the bread in.
I absolutely love the smell of anything baked and cinnamon to boot makes it a double quaff of delectable delights.

I like to wrap bread in a clean dishtowel or piece of pretty material. Then foil over that for travel. Or Saran Wrap.
Baskets are pretty for when it is served - with the material or pretty dishtowel under the bread.
