The only specific I can find is a news report about a help phone line, im sure they would appreciate volunteers...see link below...;

Erm, I can't say for sure about abused kids, but try a charity called Home-start.
They help train volunteers and place them with families swith kiddies so they can offer support.
There are different branches over london, but you might want to try westminster branch...

Expect months of police checks and endless interviews but if you can go the distance, heartening to know people still care.
