pwn was initially just a mistype of the word "own" (look at how close the "p" and "o" are on a keyboard), which occured when players had to type quickly. Nowadays, it is consideres as an "actual" word in the gaming community due to its popularity. It still means the same as "own" does.
1337, means "leet", which is a pun on "Elite". So it's basically something to show superiority over something or someone, e.g. "leet haxor" = "Elite hacker". It is also a classification of an alphabet, where you use numbers to replace certain letters, like in the example you gave:
'L1K3 D1S 4N DAT' = 'Like dis an dat'
