Follow the instructions on the box. You have to add boiling water to mix it. I add mine to fresh sausage meat, and mix together. Then I divide it up into the individual sections of a tart/pie baking tin to make 12 seperate helpings/portions. Cook for about 30 mins in oven, don`t cover and they`ll be nice and crispy on top.

Honest opinion - prepare the stuffing by going off the directions on the box. If you want to give it more of a turkey taste, mix in some of the turkey drippings or even turkey gravy. Eating anything stuffed into a turkey is scary. Raw poultry is teeming with bacteria and you can't be 100% sure you'll kill them all in cooking. Don't take a chance!

I learned a lot for questions and answers, especially these last few days, and to think of something already prepared, stuffed in a bird for an addition 4(?) hours is bad, and to have all that raw juices soaking into it from the bird while it's cooking is also bad. So I now like the idea of putting it in a seperate dish and putting it beside the bird in the last hour of cooking so it gets to smell the bird and get 'toasted'.
Yes, prepare it first, then pop in the oven at the last hour. it's better to NOT be 'stuffing' and have your health over the pot in the bathroom.

Sometimes they put giblets inside - wrapped in paper.
Be sure to clean and wash inside of turkey first
Read the back of the box.
Mix according to directions.
Put uncooked stuffing in uncooked turkey.
Bake turkey for amount of time on turkey wrapper.
You can put giblets in a pan of water with celery and onion and boil/simmer those to make gravy with later.
Just add dissolved flour or cornstarch-stirring constantly till thickened.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!!

I use box stuffing....I know you can make it in the turkey while it bakes. But I prefer seperate and stuff it later....it give the stuffing more flavor.

I would just make it like the directions on the package, then stuff the turkey, and put it in the oven. It will come out fine.
Happy Thanksgiving
