Today my mom was boiling eggs and then a egg starts to make nosie. So I took the egg and put it into a small box with sox around it. Also I put a little lamp on it; it was still making sounds now it stoped. Is it alive? best answer gets 10points.

No, sorry. Where did you get the eggs from? If they were from a store the egg probably just had a crack and the noise you heard was air releasing. If it was from a local farm or even your backyard, then I suppose there's a possibility there was a chick in it. Try candeling it, go in a dark room (bathroom?) and hold a flashlight to one end. If the entire egg looks black, there's a chick. If its opaque, whitish, then there's no chick. Hope this helps. Also, for a chick to hatch they need high humidity or they'll never break free.

It is still possible. You should candle it to see. Its where you take a flashlight in a dark room and put it to the bottom of the egg and see if you have movement. It really needs to be hot. So one lamp wont work. Maybe like 80-90 degrees, so if it has been to cold it will not live. All you can do is hope for the best, after 3 days, its gone

Where was this egg from? If the egg was from the store there is no way it could be alive because they dont have roosters with their hens so there was no furtilization. If it was a farm egg, Was it in the refridgerator before she cooked it? If the egg was cold for very long it would be dead. I would crack it open and see whats in there, there is a VERY slim chance it is alive.
