Doppleganger's are bringer's of misfortune and doom, according to papers I have read. If this is true, I pray I never meet mine - though I have been told I look - more than once - like someone elses friend. What if we are the actual dopplegangers? Hmmm...

There was a boy in my neighbourhood who went to the same school, had the same name as me, and was in the same grade. Oddly enough, I never met him.
But I kept running into traces of him during my adult life. My wife ran into a woman at a grocery store who claimed to be a former girlfriend of mine. I had no idea who she was. Turned out it was him she had dated.

ive met my doppleganger in my dreams, but i never want to in real life because they say if you meet your doppleganger it tries to kill you and take over your life as you decend into a hellish oblivion. im scared man.
