Hey Smile if the fella is really interested in the girl then it certainly is a big deal to males.

Personally, i will put off a little in the initial phase. However, when time passed, if i see more internal beauty of the person, perception will change. Most guys will be attracted by girls on the external beauty but it is the inner beauty that really captivate the heart. Glad that even though u r 'big', u r still very much confident in urself. The best way to shed weight is not really excercise though it helps in a certain extent, but it is dieting that really help. Having a balance diet with adequate quantity is the cure for overweight. Get a doctor who could advice in this area. First hand eat more veggie and fruit and less meat and carbohydrates like rice, noodle and others and most of all drink lot's of water and adequate rest. Must not stop/restrain urself from eating meat but fatty meat, snacks and cake is a sure no. Balance diet is a must. All the best!!! God bless =)

It depends on the guy - how many dates he's been on before and recently, who initiated it, where you're going, what you're like etc. For players, dates are not a big deal. Take the case of my mate, who's been on a date with this guy six times and each time he's told her he had fun but he's not interested. On the other hand, my first date with my current boyfriend was lovely, he was obviously really nervous and wanted to make a good impression - lucky, because so was I! Look for the signs in the day leading up to the date and when you meet him - has he talked about it to his friends, does he call to make sure you're still coming, is he early, does he look happy/nervous/bored, what's he wearing etc, use your instinct!

Yes it is and it is certainly not the straight forward meeting with a positive and successful conclusion that books and films often present. I can only remember enjoying a first date on one occasion and that was after being stood up a stranger in the same position talked to me and we had a great time. Good luck.

Course it's a somewhat "big deal", especially 1st and 2nd's when you're out to impress and get to know the person. Though I don't think men stress or analyse dating (i hate that word) as much a women do.

It was a big deal for my boyfriend when we started dating. Not trying to make him sound like a wuss or anything, but he was really nervous the first time we went out on a date, he didn't even want to eat anything properly...

It wasn't that long ago that i was divorced and going out on dates again for the first time in a long time.

I can assure you that each one was a, 'big deal'.

not for me it was'nt, overjoyed to go on a date but not nervous or anxious. i'm a very confident person anyway. if a girl doesnt like me its only on looks so no loss there and if its my charm and personality they go for well next morning i'm telling the hotel maid to call back "were busy".

I think so - I always find that with my male friends - they ask things like, where should we go... what would you think if I was to take you here....

Guys tend not to take a girl on a date unless he actually likes her!
