I heared all about tripto, but is that true? Honestly if a turkey was full of something that makes you tired when you eat it then why don't turkeys sleep all day. It only makes sense. I think it is a conspiracy to keep people lazy and fat.

The tripto thing IS true but it actually only causes sleepiness on an empty stomach. The post-thanksgiving exhaustion is usually caused by carbohydrate overload.

Besides we don't need any conspiracies, people are already lazy and fat

EVERY single year, I end up falling asleep for a little bit after eating Thanksgiving turkey. It's not that I eat a ton of food on this day, but I really believe it's the tripto. This year, I have to leave after Thanksgiving dinner, in order to go to another party, so I'm going to attempt to counter-balance by drinking a pop with plenty of caffene. We'll see if it works.
