he emails me whenever he has time but my last email to him was reallly rude for no reason at all. i was just mad that he never has time.

I know it can be hard when one of your friends moves away, my friend did the same thing. Send an e-mail to him explaining why you sent the rude message to him, and tell him how you feel. I am sure he will understand your reasons, perhaps he is feeling the same way but being a typical man can't express it. The fact that he messages you in his free time gives you an indication of how he feels for you! I hope it works out for you.
