Why do you wanna look for and "active soldier "anyway?
Your local recruiter will not give out any info were the soldier is or what his phonenumber is.
If he is not contact with mebay he does not want to be in contact with you.
Nobody is aloud to give out any info regarding a soldier were he lives or what his phonenumber or adress is...period.
If you are a family member and something has happen you can put a red cross message through ,but this will only go through they will not give you any info.

If you know their social security number, your local recruiter can give you a phone number to call. If you don't, your local recruiter might give you another idea.
