I think it's good to remember how many women stood beneath the cross with Jesus compared to how many men did. Do you agree?

When a woman is 'subject' to her husband, but the husband is not 'subject' to his wife, it creates an imbalance of power, doesn't it? Isn't that an invitation for men to, as you say, 'Lord it over their wives'?

Jesus subjected himself to the cross -- Christians of both sexes should subject themselves equally to the demands of love.

I think maybe some men lord it over their wives because of lack of true understanding of that scripture, or maybe because of the way they've been taught about it. And I will say it, (purely opinion) some men are insecure and try to use this to have control in their house. But the Bible does also tell us to submit TO ONE ANOTHER.

That is one of those Bible verses that seem to be taken out of context especially in charismatic churches or by those little male bullies we all know and despise.

Women are not lower then men, are not supposed to be subservient to them, walk 3 steps behind them, or any of the other crap a man made religion tries to tell you that God or anyone else wants you to do. Don't you believe it!

Men who are afraid of women use that as an excuse to keep them downtrodden and controlled. And to those women I say wakeup and start living your life instead of letting some idiot control you. You are living in a fool's paradise.

What's your point with the last question? Maybe it's a statistic that there are more women born than men anyway. Ma'am, what do you think? I believe in a balance between dictatorship and cooperation.

WOW. So much for the ERA movement, huh? Glad to see that religion still has a firm foothold on keeping women down by being "subject to her husband." If my boyfriend tried that crap with me, he'd be in for a big revelation I can tell you. Subject to man = women worthless. Wow. I can't even think anymore - you just blew my mind.

Give me one good reason why a woman should be subject to her husband?

Because the bible told you so?

Go ahead, go and look up the word emancipation in the dictionary...
