Happy Thanksgiving! My small dog is shaking like crazy. We put blankets on him, since it's cold, but he still shakes. Whats wrong?

Are you having alot of company show up? Are you doing things different than before? A dog can sense anything "different". But on the other hand...he could be having some gastric distress. Has he had any spicy food from the table? Sometimes when their stomachs are upset they shake like that. And sometimes it could be just a thing of having to do #2. Or, another thought. When we moved from one state to another once, our dog had the freaky, deaky going on. The vet said it was a nervous system problem as she picked up on the changes in her surroundings. This will subside if you can decide what the problem is. But there is a problem. Don't ignore it. Happy T-Day to you too!

You have not given enough info here..
How small is the dog?
How old is the dogs?
Has the dog ever did this before?
Is the dog eating/ drinking?
Is he poo and peeing OK?
Has he/she maybe gotten into something?
Do you have company/stranger/small kids running around?
A new animal in the house?
Doing something new?
Is there something going on with you?
Small dog will either shake when they are
scared or sick..
They also will pick up on your moods (if you are upset.. it upset them).
Give him some karo syrup on his tonuge and keep him in a warm quite place.
Call a Vet And ask if there is anything else you can do..And see if you can get him in for a checkup tomorrow.
IF he starts acting funny, starring into space, walking sideways, acting weak GET HIM TO A VET ASAP.

dogs like to shake a lot usually but if u put it in a big box filled with blankets only for the night it will stop shaking
