I've just recovered from a sinus infection, and had been getting severe headaches on the bck, right hand side of my head.. But now the headaches have phased out, and i'm getting strange symptoms like dizzyness, nausea, strange browny type mucus in stools, needing to go frequently.. Anyone have any ideas? I haven't taken any anti biotics because they cause me severe thrush. Thank you.

I too had a bad cold / influenza a week or two ago and that seemed to clear up - but then got headache / sore throat and, like you, I started to get clear mucus and diarrhoea last friday - doc thinks I have a form of Viral Gastritis - but not on any antibiotics - she has prescribed something for the stomach cramps caused by the diarrhoea. Getting very very slowly better, but still have the mucus in stools and that needs checking as it is a sign of bowel problems (such as coeliacs / crohns / cancer). Guess where I'll be in the morning if it hasn't cleared up??!
Try not to get too worried about it - but go back to your doctor if things don't improve in a week.

Right - the dizziness and nausea is because the infection has affected your inner ear (this should pass) but the funny poo I can't help with.
Drink plenty of water and eat very plain foods like toast. If it hasn't eased off within 24 hours it is time to see the doctor.

Th estool has a dark brown color due to the bile your body exkretes. The bile is mixed with the contents of your intestine in order to help digest whatever is there. The color of the bile is brown and when mixed with the stool it makes the stool brown

your body is not sick,it's detoxifying it self..take nothing. if you get diarrhea.be happy, if you puck be happy.. your body is getting ride of the poison you gave it in the first place...change your diet immediately. Juice all your veggies and eat organic foods from whole foods as raw as you can stand it.( you have to retrain your taste buds... no more McDonald's,no more Wendy's,no more burger king... eat healthy and definitely no more coke of any kind .. drink mineral water only ,from a good source....happy holidays... this will only work if you want it too. good luck , also take nothing at all what a doctor give's you,he is only making it worse.........

you really need to consult your doctor, the browney stuff in your stool could mean internal bleeding, non the less consult a doctor, if you do take a sample of that to him
