What as mileage should be expected in normal driving conditions? What about under towing conditions (7500lbs trailer)?

I have gotten as good as 12.5 towing a small load (3000#s). Empty on the freeway would be about the same. In the city it is horrible about 8 or 9, but then I have a lead foot.
My experience is that it makes a big difference in the way you drive. If you keep the speed down and use cruise control, you do much better than if you are always on/off the gas.

About 10 MPG in normal driving conditions, maybe up to 13 or 14 on the highway. Somewhere around 4 - 6 while towing depending upon the load, speed, road conditions, etc.

A friend of mine has a V-10, on normal days he gets anywhere from 9-11 mpg w/o towing.. I would assume with 7500 lbs its gonna be somewhere in the range of 6-10 maybe, depends on the driver and the tarrain.( flat, hills)..
