My best friend is lovely and all that, when we go out and she is in the company of men she always sits with her legs apart, it is embarrassing for me. What should I say to her, I tink is is deliberate. Any suggestions?

Does she always wear a skirt/dress when you go out?? Maybe she sits like that when she has jeans on and does not realise she is doing it. If she is a good a friend as you say she is then a quiet word letting her know how uncomfortable it makes you sounds like a good idea.

You could say "eee god this lass my friend knows, she said they were out the other day and her friend kept opening her legs every time they sat down, and my friend in the end had to tell her why she kept getting creeps looking between them all the time"
or something along those lines, if she still doesn't take the hint ,wait a few weeks until she forgets about it and mention to her that she keeps doing it
OR complain of a fishy smell and say "close ya legs " LOL just joking.....

obviously she has insecurities-not that you would think so by her openness...Hehe. Nah, seriously thats a hard one cos u dont wanna hurt her feelings or embarrass her by saying anything but It's embarrassing you to go out with her. Crazy. Anyway, I'd have to say that if you guys are really good mates then you could try talking to her honestly and just say that you are concerned that she's putting out the wrong signals. There are some fucked up people out there who would see her as being an easy target for sexual abuse and ya just never know what could happen. Is a hard one especially if she is your mate. dont know what I'd do. sorry. see what some other people reckon

Next time you go out, bring a big cloth along or a windbreaker. When she opens her legs, cover it with the items she brought along. Keep doing it until she gets the hint.

Ask her if she is aware of this practice and that it is very unladylike and that you do find it offensive. Also advice her that she is certainly not attracting males by this behaviour, either than men who may want her for a one night stand.

Without knowing her specifics I would say that it is her way of advertising her availability as a woman. I think she probably is very insecure. Why dont you talk to her? If she really is your friend then you have to talk to her. Otherwise, invite her over to my house!!! I like exhibitionists!

I would tell her it embarrasses you, not only that but she'll pull all the wrong kind of men. Surely she cant be that low in self esteem to have anyone!
