Two best buys
Pick the second favourite and if you are very knowledgeable pick the horse that has travelled the furthest, most trainers wouldnt send their horses 200+ miles unless they had a good chance of winning. In heavy going, wet weather, pick the horse with the lightest jockey.
All these hints and tips have made me the man I am today, penniless!

There are many books written by "experts" on winning angles and systems. All systems, no matter how good they seem initially, eventually go bad. There are too many variables ; During a race you are dealing with two unpredictable animals (the horse & the jockey/driver).
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't answer your question. NO!

Here's a secret for you the bookmakers don't want you to know, bet on the winner. Works every time.
Just kidding, there is no way for amateur punters to make a profit from bookies (in the long run), pro's study form, watch every race and sometimes get inside info from jockeys and trainers.
Just save your money.

A friend once told me: 'Never back the heavily handicapped horses.'
I said, "I'm not a f*cking idiot!! I know that, for them, it's the taking part that counts."

Sadly no. I find it easier to lose money. Inside information must help. Ido recommend you don't chase your losses.
