but is so hungry now she doesn't know what to do with herself, she phoned me up at 11pm last night crying cos she's so hungry and has been since tuesday afternoon, i have told her that once the first week is over and done, it will get easier, but she seems to be losing her resolve, i can't diet with her as i am pregnant, has anyone been on Lipotrim or on it now that can give her some much needed advice? also, what is not helping is she doesn't like the taste of the shakes, has added coffee but she dreads "meal" times.

although i do not think this is the best way to diet, it is done through her doctor and it is totally safe (doctor isn't going to put her on something that is going to make her ill) as the shakes give her all the nutrients and vitamins she needs for her body to live on.

Hi,
I did this diet myself, I also didnt like that taste of the shakes, i kept to the choc shakes and mixed them with a tiny bit of water to make then in to a sticky moose, it made me feel like i was eating and not just drinking, strawberry and vanilla shakes were made me reach the taste was that bad.
I lost 12 pound in my first week and i'd say bout 5-6 pounds of that was water as i didnt feel a difference in my clothes at all.
I can say after the first week, you just get used to it, my partner had his main dinner in work which helped and he makes my son his dinner at home while i have a bath. but the hunger pains really do go away, and i actuallt started to really like my choco moose.
After week two you can have these flap jack bars but i didnt like taste of these either.
I only did it for two weeks and week three i did the re feeding programme, im just watcing what im eating now, and ive kept the weight off.
Tell your friend good luck with her weight loss

The 5lbs she's lost so far will be water, not fat, unless she's been exercising too.
Meal replacement diets do not work, as soon as she starts to eat normally again the weight will go back on.
If she really wants to stick with the shakes, she should also add fruit and veg to stave off the hunger pangs - sticks of carrot and celery for example.
A lot of people mistake hunger for dehydration, make sure she's keeping her fluid levels up by sipping water throughout the day.

You don’t need to exercise for hours on end. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results should you work hard. Get a bypassing rope, skip for two moments, do push ups for about a minute, skip for two minutes, rest first minute. Then change the push approximately something else like sit ups and do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a fast, effective workout that will recover results than a long operate or swim.

Take time once a 1 week to plan out and look for meals and snacks so you happen to be prepared whenever hunger strikes.

Set performance-based goals. Always set yourself incrementally larger goals each week to make certain you’re engaged and have something to strive for. Each little achievement is also a reward that you’re going in the correct direction. From doing 10 more squats to mastering a brand new yoga pose, whatever floats your own boat.
