this guy has been chasing me for over a year, we have kissed yet, when i asked him to ask me out in a date he went quiet on me. why chase me for so long then???i dint get it???

All guys like the chase- it's biological, it's instinct, it's nature. Most mature and settle down. Some guys are like a dog chasing a car- they don't expect to catch it and don't know what to do once they do.

sounds like a shy guy . men are strange when it comes to chasing .i think its something to do with the feel of making the relationship more exciting or the goal more exciting. but any case i wouldn't worry about I'm sure he will ask you out soon.

Because they aren't ready to settle the realationship I was just in it seemed that he was ready to settle but them his ex got in his ear and it was over. . . .But I think they like the chase because some are affraid of commitment or when they are with you for a time like me and my ex I think he thought he really did love me but then he got scared that he actually loved me and I felt the same way
