I heard someone on the History Channel say that God didn't part the Red Sea, but instead two tsunami waves occured in that spot, going opposite directions, at the same moment, and thus created a path through the sea.

Recently I heard someone claiming Jesus didn't walk on water - he walked on a sheet of ice and the disciples mistook it for walking on water (still I don't see how they expalin why the disciples were out on a boat in a frozen lake and how Peter fell through but Jesus did not)

Of course others claim Jesus did not die on the cross, but after being stabbed in the heart he relaxed in the tomb for a couple days then apparently got bored and finally decided to come out and walk around.

What do you guys think?

I heard something similar to the parting of the Red Sea thing only it had to do with low tide and the guy said they walked across with only a couple of inches of water, well, one guy that was listening to it said, "Glory Hallelujah!! It's a bigger miracle then what we thought!!! Pharaoh's whole army drowned in just a couple of inches of water!"

Another thing I heard was the multiplying of the loaves and fishes, they said that didn't really happen, it was just that people shared --- yea, right. The thing is is we think that if our ALL POWERFUL human minds cant understand something it didn't happen, and they can not comprehend that God is so far above us....just pride I'm afraid.

They know that the events in the Bible are historically accurate, but they don't believe that God is God.

The thing here is that these "explanations" are more improbable than what actually is recorded. Two tsunami waves at once? That would definitely not give enough time for the entire nation of Israel to walk across the Red Sea because the water would have to come back sooner than it would take to WALK a few MILES.
I don't even believe that the two tsunami waves like that is POSSIBLE. Anyway, let them think that the world works like that. They'll regret it later.

I'm sure you've only touched the tip of the iceberg.Science has also disproved the story of the Ark through geological means, and the Shroud of Tourin also radio carbon dated 1000 years after the death of Christ.Right around Davici's time. There's alot more, but I'll leave you with that.
That documentary said the Red Sea was more likely a patch of reeds, through both the location and examining the translations.

Well, at the time, it would make more sense than miraculously walking on water and jabbing a stick into the earth and creating a single earthquake point with enough force to split up the sea. they think that's miracles because it is something that happens not-too-often. What was the name of that program?

Well, knowing that there is no way to verify that the Red Sea ever parted the tsunami theory is a waste of time. Seeing as there is no way to verify that Jesus walked on water, existed or died it was also a waste of time to theorize on the other things mentioned too.

Folks will deny Christ until ultimately they stand before Him.
Do you really expect everyone to just "get on board"?

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

All of these following historians, of first and early second century, mention Jesus of Nazareth as a historical figure who existed in the first century CE, or they mention Christ.

One must remember that these TV programs are put on by nonbelievers and MUST be viewed with that in mind. When and if I watch such programing I will turn the channel or turn my TV off if what they are saying is too far out there to be believed, or when the lie out right, like saying that God did not do something when the Bible has said that He did.

I initially became going to refer you to the twenty eighth known treatment at Lourdes, a young person named LaVoye, and there are others as somebody has observed beforehand me, yet evaluate this somewhat, additionally an thought stated via somebody else. clone of Our woman of Guadalupe is on a serape made up of cactus fiber. Cactus fiber in many circumstances won't be able to final as long as this serape has lasted. A interest that, maybe no person would evaluate it a miracle, and that i won't be in a position to develop it as one, nonetheless it in itself would be. somewhat, evaluate the image. Juan Diego had wrapped roses (turning out to be on a snow lined hill in Mexico, in iciness, additionally a interest; lower back one i won't be in a position to develop as a miracle, nonetheless it could nicely be) into the serape (i think of the technical be conscious is "tilma") and whilst he opened the tilma to tutor the bishop the roses (the bishop had asked for an indication of authenticity for the message Diego had delivered to him beforehand) they fell on the bishops feet. notwithstanding, the bishops gaze did now not persist with the roses. somewhat his eyes have been riveted on clone of a woman in blue on the interior the tilma. the image became so specific that the lady's eyes, scholars and all ought to be discerned. I even have examine that in case you analyze the image very carefully, clone of the scholars of her eyes mirror the scene interior the room whilst Juan Diego opened the tilma; the bishop and his attendants would nicely be seen in clone of the scholar. That image is in all probability a miracle all via itself. with a bit of luck, somebody will submit an undeniable fact that the visual charm of the bishop in clone of the scholars of the lady is purely a pious legend. Then, i'd have one much less miracle to ought to settle for; yet only one. The resurrection of Jesus will continually proceed to be. If the followers of Jesus stole the physique, why wasn't the Sanhedrin waiting to tutor that. their very own guards claimed it became so. The Sanhedrin in all probability would have tortured all and sundry of the disciples they chosen and stress him to inform the place they had hidden the physique. yet there i now not something everywhere in any writing that makes this style of declare, so far as i be conscious of. do you be conscious of of such? What if evidently Jesus surely is the Son of God and that all and sundry the Christian perception equipment is certainty? the place will that depart you? Is the delight you get out of your animosity and doubt nicely surely worth the gamble you're taking?
