I dont know what is wrong. I can sit down and get little lines in my legs that my pants left and 2 hrs later they are still there. I have gained 5-7lbs but don't look any bigger except in my legs. I do have something wrong with my liver and my skin is turning yellow. I went to the doc to get it checked but it came back normal and they said that it was a side effect of my medication that I have been taking for 4 years. I'm off of it now and I don't eat too much salt. I eat lots of cucumbers and parsley. What is wrong with me???

lol, I hope it's not fat. I don't how I could have gained it in 1 week. My stomach still makes me look anorexic. I'm 5'7" was 111lbs and now like 118lbs. I know that healthy but still a little too strange.

POOR circulation possibly- and keeping your legs down too long can make them swell- or kidney or heart problems- sometimes w liver problems fluid accumulates in the belly(ascites) - I would make sure everything else is ok-D

It's not just salt that causes you to retain water. It's Sodium in particular. How much soup do you eat? Chinese food? Watch out on those labels for sodium levels. I grabbed a small can of soup yesterday (8 oz.) and it had 111% of a daily value of Sodium in it!!! It only said 37%, but I looked closer, and they had divided the 8 oz. can into 2.5 servings... how much sense does that make???

Any spices you put in your food to add flavor are likely to have high levels of Sodium.

I hate to say this, but what makes you think you're retaining water and not gaining fat? Have you had your Thyroids checked?

I m not a doctor but it sounds like u need to drink lots more water to aid the kidneys in cleaning out your system. You should also get someone to massage your body. The yellow skin is a sign of a serious problem...
GET A SECOND OPINION.

As a guess, your water retention may be due to heart or kidneys
not ruling out diabetes. Ask your doctor to do a blood work up & check your PSA's and possibly perscribe you a water pill.
