Poutine (french fries with gravy and cheese curds), scrapple (stuff that ain't good enough to be sausage) and ******* (no, this isn't an epithet...these are pork meatballs with heart chunks 'n stuff and you can look it up on wikipedia) are my winners. Got any truly nasty foods that make you wonder WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!

Gosh, you must not have experienced "hunger". Most of these so called nasty food were just plain "protein" that was too good to waste in the old days. And it's not just the chinese that utilize all they can for nutrients either.
The Europeans have haggis and black sausages.
The Central Americans consume a lot of bugs and worms.
And cannibalism still exists in many parts of the world.
LOL, just research on how they get the gelatine to make Jello, (hint, it takes lots and lots of animal bones)
P.S. Don't visit any soya sauce producer either.

There are a wide variety of foods in the world that others may find disgusting. One that we can all relate too that I tired was really bad. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza from Pizza Hut. I like pizza and hot wings but this was truly inedible. Cannot believe it got past the testing stage.

How about tripe it is white and bubbly looking (it is intestinal linings of cattle) or tongue.
I once dated a guy years ago and went to his house one day and his parents were sitting at the table eating an entire boiled sheeps head, brains, eyeballs the works. To them it was a delicacy. To me it was gross!

Eyeballs, I believe the Inuits eat them because they don't believe in wasting any part of the animal. That and chocolate-covered roaches; who'd want to eat a roach, those things feed off of poop and other nasty stuff.
I forgot one, people, you know cannibalism. That's gross and disturbing.

pieds et paquets.... lamb tripes and feet served in a white wine/tomato sauce and suckling pig served whole are the two 'nastiest in my book' things that I've come across living in France.
Marmite is horrible too.

I've heard of Plumber's Jello, where there's yellow jello in a white bowl with a "turd" with the caramel seeping out of the "turd" to look like semen.
