so some distance as "effectual"...the bow and arrow, hands down. The spear has an quite short effectual selection and might't be aimed besides as an arrow. It additionally demands greater actual action to hurl the spear, which will startle off maximum activity. It exchange into relatively basically effectual against greater beneficial animals (e.g. herd animals) that should face their floor somewhat greater beneficial than say a deer or smaller activity. An arrow could be shot with plenty greater precision and the speed of the arrow is plenty greater beneficial than a spear (regardless of using an atlatl). it may additionally be fired with much less action that should scare off activity. you may pull lower back the string quite quietly and with minimum attempt (aside from 1 arm shifting lower back). in case you have been living in a greater organic cycle, you may in all probability have various bows in the works and it exchange into an ongoing ingredient to make arrows. So, there could be no situation of "time" to think approximately. it may only be the way you lived. Now in case you have been transported lower back in time with not something and had to start from scratch, then specific, making a spear and atlatl could take much less time. a stable bow needs to be artwork from a reasonably small form of tree species, dried, formed, oiled. etc. then you relatively could desire to discover stable fabric for a bow string. it may take some months to produce a extreme-high quality bow.

there was talk in the House of Commons to reintroduce the hunting of wild deer as they have become a problem for farmers , but it was revoked as there were fears of too much interest , you can hunt for rabbit ,and pigeon , but you still need permission from the land owner which is the only place you could hunt , plus if using a firing weapon , a licence . you can eat what you catch when fishing from the sea . using spears and bows sound like you are going to get hungry
