how can i stop my budgie from screaming so loud and so much?PLEASE HELP ME HE IS SOOOO LOUD!! He is about 3 years old now

Whatever you do, don't cover his cage to keep him quiet. That is cruel. He's screaming for a reason. Make sure there's nothing wrong other than him being lonely. Get him a mirror and toys and try to spend more time talking quietly to him. Hand him treats and tell him he's a good bird. I have some that can talk. Yours might too if you just spend time with him.

He might be lonely or calling for a mate. Do you have a mirror in his cage so he can "talk" to another bird?
Do you talk to him and spend some time with him?

Cover the cage with a lightweight sheet or towel. This should stop the noise making.
But before you do this please make sure the bird looks okay, has food & water.

I have a parakeet. I just give him a lot of food and then he stops.
