My avatar is what scientists and anthropoligists think Jesus probably looked like. The skin was darker. The shape of the head was different. There was less variability. Most people looked similar. Even the Bible said that Jesus did not stand out in a crowd. He looked like a typical Jew.

yes, you are correct in this description of the semitic peoples of Jesus time, much interbreeding has changed this look and the typical Jew of today has lost most of these characteristics.

This should have been so. The Jews are of the same as Arabs --semitic people and may have been almost indistinquishable from them Some Jewish communities which continued to remain back after the Exodus adopted the Arab manner and dresses and must have been looked similar. With the enforced migration they were spread all over the world and while they did attempt to scruplously hold themselves aloof and maintain their traditions their appearances must have undergond changes due to atmospheric and other factors. Thus, the Jewish descendenta in MIzoram in India and those in Israel hardly look alike. It is by their tradition these migrants maintained despite their separation from their motherland and their people which helped to identify them as Jews.It is to the entire credit of the Israel nation that they ignored these superfacialities and admitted them in Israel as their own people.

You are only giving an opinion. You do not have any question. What you are saying is nothing new nor has any significance. Hence, you are not seeking any answer, as such. My time is wasted!
