Your answer might be confusing to some. Read below for the breakdown. Zeus was not real.......Jesus is.
The word Jesus is the Latin form of the Greek Iesous, which in turn is the transliteration of the Hebrew Jeshua, or Joshua, or again Jehoshua, ...

Jesus means Salvation, or "the Lord is salvation," "the Lord Saves."
"Jesus" is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua which was originally Hoshea (Oshea) (Num. 13:8, 16 - the King James Version of the Bible spells it "Oshea"), but changed by Moses into Jehoshua (Num. 13:16; 1 Chr. 7:27), or Joshua. After the Exile it assumed the form Jeshua, from which came the Greek form Jesus. It was given to our Lord to denote the object of his mission, to save. An angel told Joseph (his foster-father), "You are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21).
Who told you that they sound similar? They don't. Not at all.
"Zeus" sounds (is pronounced) "Zeafs". It sounds just like "deaf", only replace "d" with "z" and add a "s" at the end of the word.
"Jesus" sounds "E-E-SOUSS"

If Jesus were to be compared to any other Deity it would have to be Thor, son of Odin. Thor was the result of a union between a God, Odin, and a mortal woman. He had an evil half brother, Loki, (Satan) who sought the world for himself. Thor was sent to the mortal realms(Earth) to sort his brother out, but as Thor was good he was unable to bring himself to destroy Loki, so after a fight he was banished to the nether world. He was unable to come back to the mortal realm as a person, but was able to influence people through bad thoughts. Thor was injured and returned to Valhalla. The story sounds familiar doesn't it, especially as Jesus and Micheal are believed by some to be the same.

Actually, the haircut is about the same, but the attitude is totally different. Zeus was a womanizer who threw lightning bolts around, while Jesus was apparently celebate, and threw love around.

they have too many attributes that are different. Zeus resembles Jesus' dad (the God from the previous testomony) in incredibly some techniques in spite of the undeniable fact that. there is a few communicate that according to hazard the classic Semitic peoples proportion ancestry with the Minoans and that's the place the similarities come from.

My name is Christy. I know, ironic, right? Yeah, anyway... my name sounds like Misty. But I assure you, there's no correlation between my name and that one.
Now, if you consider the actual characteristics of Jesus's life as compared to gods like Mithras, Horus, Osiris, Krishna, and Dionysos... then you really have something.
