I don't think its Menthol or cigars its some other ones.

they are what we call snides, cheapies, and theres some horrible stuff in there.

I notice the same thing, and I think it may be just the quality of the tobacco and what they use in it. Some smell nice, like DuMaurier and Benson & Hedges. Export A and Players I find smell kind of chemical-y and weird. American ciggies smell like cigars and are stronger I find. But I quit 2 years ago so they all smell strong now :)

Open up all the doors and living house windows and get a contemporary going to get some clean air in- turn off your heater so it would not freak out and positioned on a sweater :) i'm desirable there with you on the smoke smell. Febreeze and Oust have some stable sprays too.

i work in a pub and ive also noticed this,seems to be how people smoke them,if they really take deep puffs it burns smellier.
