We're not planning to go to church today, but we always pray before our Thanksgiving dinner even though some of the others in our family don't believe in God.

Will not go to church - the preaching is to hateful or exclusive.
Will say grace as I am very appreciative of the live that God has given us.

My family never said grace when I grew up, and no grace was said during my marriage and growing up of my children. I think it is nonsense.

Good Lord - No and No. Today we are thankful for the indians who kept the colonists alive. Religion had nothing to do with that because as a "christian" you know they were "heathans".
