Look it's a waste of time trying to convert athiests and athiests to convert believers. They aren't on the same frequency. Even if God himself came from heaven (which he did) people still won't beleive him. Not even God can convince them. Most of the time athiest have had a bad situation occur in their lives and turned to God for help, he didn't answer in the way they wanted so they don't believe he exists. Jesus was the Son of God as he said. My Father is in heaven. He is also God think of the American Gov't they consis of Legislative, Judicial, and Executive. Each one holds gov't power and is consisdered to be Government. at the same time considered one gov't becuase tehy work together. Same with the trinity. Jesus has his job it wasn't to save himself or protect himself. But willingly be killed so that all sin of man be placed on his back. that was his JOB is direct order from God which is why he did not save himself. God in heaven will judge the living and the dead and the

Holy spirit is to make sure things go according to plan. They work together, they are one unit as a team tehy are one God. That is how it works. Things that are illogical to us are very logical to God things logical to us, aren't typically the way things are done. If he wasn't acting as a human then we couldn't say "God how do you know what it is like to suffer, cry, feel hurt, hunger," GHod now knows how we feel and we can relate. Jesus also came to set a relationship with God. Jesus birth has been prophecied more than 400 years before his birth by more than one person. Jesus is God the holy spirit is God and the Father is God working together they make one God, get it?

I ditto music-girl on this one. You really have no idea what you're talking about. Many of us came to the no-God conclusion through religion, or by merely reading the bible. I can tell you son't really understand the subject you're talking about simply by one statement - "Most of the time athiest have had a bad situation occur in their lives and turned to God for help, he didn't answer in the way they wanted so they don't believe he exists." Wrong. Have you taken a survey of atheists to come to this conclusion, or did you just make it up? And saying our government is like the trinity is ridiculous. How about you stop preaching until you have a firm grasp on what you're on about? I could care less about converting people to my way of thinking - after all, I'm not a christer, so I don't need to increase the number of cult members like they do.

If Jesus took all our sins on his back why does he say that when we ask for forgiveness he will give it, but if we don't we face God without his support? You keep following the anti-christ Paul who gave duties to the holy spirit and legalized the 'do as I say, not as I do' method of teaching.

I used to be a baptist camp counsellor. On the bible quiz team. Led souls to the lord. Argued "creationism" with a biology grad student until he banged his head against the wall. Went to Baptist Bible College and translated the koine greek in Hermeneutics Class (1 John, specifically).

If patient people hadn't given me time and energy, I'd still be a fundy. As an atheist, I owe it to them to continue having discussions with anyone who is willing.

King Nebuchadnezzar was an pagan idol worshipper. Yet through his friendship and interaction with the prophet Daniel, he accepted God's call to repentance and according to the Biblical account, we can expect to see him in heaven. God never quits. Neither should we.

It is pointless. It is pointless to try and make someone think differently about their beliefs. They are THEIR beliefs. Although, I would like to know how many atheists are praying to God when they die, get incarcerated, lose a family member, etc. I find them complete frauds, but would never try and change their view. They have that right.

this is why I never try and convert anyone as each person has a right to believe or not believe as they see fit because of their free will.
