It's better than the middle of the day. I'd rather sleep through the body melting caused by the blast.

When I was young, back in the 1950s, we used to have air raid drills where we were supposed to "duck and cover" when the air raid siren went off. But we all knew that there might not be a siren, but just a bomb, which could drop while we were asleep and we'd never wake up.

As I got older and it never happened, I got over that feeling. I found it welling up again on September 11, 2001, but now it has faded again.

Thanks for reminding me. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Ya know,, I once had a Ferrari supposedly worth about 4 million bucks (the 1962 Breadvan) parked in my shop. Being as I am just a normal guy that works for wages like any one else, that kind of money is a bit frightening. As I was laying wide awake in bed WORRYING ABOUT EARTHQUAKES and what one would cost me, I came to the conclusion that it is absolutely stupid to loose sleep over something that I have no control of anyways.

If someone drops that stupid bomb while you are in bed, you will never know it........... end of story

No. I was in grade school when the cold war started. I grew up with
that possibility. We even had drills for it. Like a lot of people my age
we have become immune to the fear of it. But not the possibility.

No. I fear my car getting broken into. They already stole a hub cap.

Our military is on alert 24/7. We will know if it is coming. My guess is that we will try to divert it. Ever heard of radar?

Nope, just that gigantic planet-buster asteroid floating around up there that NASA's wisely not telling us about...it's coming...LOL

No more than at high noon! Either way if it's close enough, I'd be toast.
