They do make numbing creams to use before waxing. Also the type of wax also helps. Some have lest friction, like Luke Warm cream waxes. Using a pre-epilation powder also helps reduce friction on the skin. GIGi Hon is one of the most popular but cheapest quality waxes and I find it causes the most irritation. My favorite is Bolero White Queen Cream Wax. I'd be lost without it.
